The administration of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service invites talented 2nd- and 3rd-year students of the Institute to study at the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (Germany) under the Student Exchange Program.

In accordance with the "Student Exchange Agreement" signed between the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service and the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences, in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, students of our Institute may study at the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences for one semester under the exchange program and then return.

The most suitable candidates for this program will be selected on a competitive basis. The requirements for candidates are as follows:

1. Being a 2nd- or 3rd-year student of the Institute;

2. Language proficiency: German B2, English B2;

3. Excellent academic performance and exemplary conduct.

Those wishing to participate in the competition should contact the Deputy Deans for academic affairs of their faculties.

For reference: The Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Nordhausen) is located in the city of Nordhausen in the state of Thuringia, Germany. Founded in 1997 after German reunification, as of 2022 it has 2,035 students enrolled, taught by 50 highly qualified professors.
