The accounting department of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service carries out its activities in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, decisions of the Board of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and conducts on the basis of orders, decisions of the Council of the Institute and orders of the rector, the Charter of the Institute and the Charter of accounting.

The purpose of the department is to create the necessary financial conditions for the effective operation of the institute and achieve high rating indicators, as well as to ensure the rational and efficient use of budgetary and extrabudgetary funds in order to strengthen the material and technical base, finance expenses, achieve not exceeding the approved plan (estimate) and limits, develop proposals for further improvement of the current and prospective economic situation of the institute.

The main tasks of the accounting department:

  • Ensuring the organization of accounting on the basis of regulatory documents approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, control over the efficient use of material, labor and financial resources;
  • Control over the timely calculation and distribution of monthly salaries of teachers and staff, student scholarships;
  • Formation of complete and reliable information on the state and movement of assets, property rights and obligations in the accounting statements;
  • Timely inventory of material assets and funds;
  • Generalization of accounting information for effective management;
  • Preparation of financial, tax and other reports;
  • Timely transfer of taxes to the local and republican budget;
  • Target spending of funds received from the bank;
  • Prevention of occurrence of receivables and payables;
  • Control over the correct use of the wage fund on the basis of approved staffing tables and staff forms;
  • Control the correctness of the formation of the scholarship fund on the basis of the orders of the rector;
  • Control of the receipt and release of goods to the warehouse according to the established rules;
  • Control over the expenditure of budgetary and extrabudgetary funds by item of expenditure on the basis of approved estimates;
  • Quality control of the inventory of funds, goods and fixed assets in the prescribed manner;
  • Control over the timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Tax Inspectorate and other organizations.
