MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY TO SUPPORT GIRLS AND WOMEN IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
Since the first years of independence, a key focus of large-scale initiatives aimed at strengthening the role and status of women in our republic has been the comprehensive increase of attention to them and the expansion of their opportunities. In recent years, a significant set of legal and regulatory acts has been adopted in the country, promoting the active participation of girls and women in social, economic, and managerial spheres. Strengthening their social position has become one of the priority directions of state policy. Today, 35.44% of employees in all sectors of the economy, management systems, and production activities are women, which indicates a substantial expansion of their participation in the development of society.
The main objectives of the Council are:

• implementing measures to expand the participation of women in state and public administration bodies, creating conditions for their professional growth and the development of managerial competencies;
• timely identification of issues faced by girls and women, maintaining continuous work on creating targeted lists of girls and women in need of assistance, including those with disabilities, and providing them with the necessary support;

• implementing a set of measures aimed at preparing students for family life, promoting the involvement of young families in public activities, and advancing constructive ideas related to the activities of women who actively engage in socially beneficial work and serve as role models;
• submitting, in accordance with established procedures, proposals to nominate female staff members who have demonstrated high professional activity and made a significant contribution to the development of the university for state and departmental awards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNCIL
Increasing the activity of women and girls in addressing political, social, and economic issues, providing comprehensive support for their initiatives, improving their socio-economic conditions, ensuring the protection of their rights and legal interests, as well as strengthening family relations based on national and spiritual values, are among the Council’s key areas of activity. These efforts are aimed at nurturing morally mature and ideologically resilient youth, ready to make a significant contribution to the development of the nation and the state, and at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The Women’s Advisory Council actively participates in the social life of the institute and, with the support of the administration, carries out spiritual and educational work among the faculty, teaching staff, technical personnel, and students.
To study the spiritual and psychological well-being of female students, meetings and roundtables are regularly held, focusing on the development of high moral and spiritual qualities. The activities of the Women’s Advisory Council are aimed at developing students’ skills for a healthy lifestyle, fostering a responsible attitude toward their own health, avoiding harmful habits, preventing early sexual activity, engaging in regular sports, observing behavioral norms, and cultivating proper nutrition, clothing, and communication practices, as well as preparing young women for family life.
