A Memorandum of Cooperation Has Been Signed between the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

On 18 September of this year, a delegation from the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service held an official meeting with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

At the meeting, representatives of the two higher education institutions discussed important issues related to expanding cooperation in the fields of education and science, implementing joint projects and grants, and training highly qualified personnel in the tourism sector.

The parties emphasized the need to implement initiatives that contribute to the economic development of higher education institutions. Taking into account the high tourism potential of the cities of Samarkand and Batumi, particular emphasis was placed on the expediency of establishing joint efforts in this area.

It was also noted that issues such as the exchange of professors, teaching staff and students, the conduct of joint scientific research, and cooperation in the process of achieving positions in international rankings should be further developed in the future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation.
