A Representative of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service Took Part in an International Forum

V. Uzakova, Chief Specialist of the International Rankings Department of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, took part in the international forum "Digital Transformation of Universities in Uzbekistan: Managing Higher Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence", held in the city of Samarkand.

The forum brought together Rectors and Vice-Rectors of 16 higher education institutions from 7 regions of Uzbekistan, officials responsible for digital transformation, and experts in educational technology, who discussed the modernization of higher education governance and the acceleration of digital transformation within the framework of the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy.

During the discussions, particular attention was paid to ensuring data integration in higher education institutions, compliance with the ECTS system and the development of international academic mobility, the effective use of artificial intelligence and digital platforms, improving student attendance and the quality of education, as well as strengthening positions in international rankings.

At the conclusion of the forum, participants emphasized the importance of consolidating institutional data into a unified system, supporting digital transformation teams, and introducing modern artificial intelligence-based systems in order to ensure sustainable digital transformation.
