Institute psychologist at an international conference

On 6 December 2022, the institute's psychologist D. To'xtamisheva took part in an international scientific and educational conference held at the Tashkent Medical Academy and dedicated to the "100th Anniversary of Medical Psychology." At the conference, scholars from Uzbekistan, Türkiye and Europe delivered reports on the following topics: medical psychology, yesterday, today and tomorrow; problems and solutions concerning the cooperation between general medicine and psychosomatic medicine; and opinions on the work of psychologists in treatment and preventive institutions;

medical and psychological problems of childhood and adolescence;

psychological conflicts in the family, the runaway syndrome and its solutions;

the possibilities of hypnotherapy in psychosomatic medicine;

problems of gerontopsychology;

prospects for the development of neuropsychology in Uzbekistan, and problems of psychohygiene and psychoprophylaxis. Question-and-answer sessions followed the reports. The specialists who took part in the conference were awarded certificates, including D. To'xtamisheva, psychologist of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.
