Gratitude is the Greatest Virtue: The Psychological Significance of Gratitude

Psychological trainings with the participation of students are being organized by D. To'xtamisheva, psychologist at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service. One such training, entitled "Gratitude Is the Greatest Virtue: The Psychological Significance of Gratitude," was held at the Faculty of Banking and Financial Services.

During the training, the role of the feeling of gratitude in the human psyche and social life, as well as its positive effect on human health, was discussed. Gratitude is an important virtue that expresses a person's contentment with what they have and the feeling of appreciation for their family, homeland, and society. Today, broad opportunities are being created in our country for young people to receive an education, conduct scientific research, and improve their professional skills. This, in turn, strengthens the sense of devotion to the homeland, gratitude, and selflessness in every young student. A meditation entitled "Love for the Homeland and Gratitude" was conducted, and the participants exchanged views on the conditions being created for young people in our country and the opportunities available on the path of education and development. The students shared their own views on the sense of devotion and gratitude toward the homeland.
