Rector's Congratulation

Esteemed teachers and mentors! Dear colleagues!

I sincerely congratulate you, all the devoted employees and veterans of the field of education and upbringing, on the nationwide holiday – Teachers' and Mentors' Day.

It is no coincidence that in recent years our esteemed President has been carrying out large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening the role and influence of teachers and mentors in the life of our society and at organizing the education system in accordance with the demands of the time. After all, the prestige and respect enjoyed by a teacher is, first and foremost, the prestige and respect of the nation and the entire people.

Nurturing new Beruni's, new Khorazmi's, Ibn Sinos and Farghanis, and thereby turning our beloved Motherland into a developed, peaceful, free and prosperous country on a global scale, is the mission of our teachers and mentors.

In fulfilling this responsibility before the Motherland and this noble and great task, I wish all of you strength and energy, peace in your families, and good health. May abundance, blessings, peace and tranquility never leave your homes!

Once again, happy "Teachers' and Mentors' Day," the most honorable of all professional holidays!

With respect, Rector of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Muhiddin Egamberdiyevich Po'latov
