In order to educate female students in the spirit of respect and loyalty to the Motherland, our people and our national army, agitation of healthy lifestyle among them, together with Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service and military unit №75061 in Samarkand city the contest "Tomaris Followers" is held.

Today the second stage of this contest was held in the student dormitory of the Institute. The teams "Barchinoy", "Bibihanim" and "Tomaris", consisting of our students, took part in such competitions as grenade throwing, military relay race, assembling a machine gun, team-working, darts, tug-of-war and putting a bullet in the barrel.

The rector of the institute Pulatov Mukhiddin Egamberdievich also spoke at the competition, emphasizing the persistence, ingenuity and courage of our girls. During his speech, the rector emphasized that our girls and women are worthy successors of our ancestors, such as Tomaris, will raise brave and patriotic children in the future.

Along with the competitions, militaries of the military unit №75061 in the city of Samarkand showed combat performances and an exhibition of military weapons.
