A ceremonial event and an international scientific-practical conference were held on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Professor Radjab Abdullayev of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service

Today, at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, a solemn ceremony was held in honor of the 90th birthday of Professor Radjab Abdullayev, together with an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Theoretical, Organizational, and Methodological Issues of the Accelerated Transition of Accounting to International Financial Reporting Standards."

At the opening of the conference, a solemn ceremony of congratulations was held on the joyous occasion of the anniversary of the dedicated teacher, Professor Radjab Abdullayevich, who has worked productively at the institute for many years. The speakers expressed their heartfelt wishes and presented commemorative gifts.

The conference then began its work. The speakers discussed the theoretical, organizational, and methodological issues of the accelerated transition of accounting to International Financial Reporting Standards, the alignment of enterprises' accounting policies with the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as the substantively new indicators of financial reporting based on IFRS, and issues of recognition and measurement.
