A Roundtable Discussion on "Protection of Intellectual Property and Combating Counterfeit Products" Was Organized

Today, March 6, at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, a round-table discussion was held with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as part of the "Counterfeit-Free Month" campaign being organized nationwide.

At the event, B.R.Ruziyev, Head of the Department for the Legal Protection of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice, N.X.Ochilova, the Institute's legal adviser, and O.X.Yunusov, Candidate of Legal Sciences and Associate Professor, delivered speeches and provided information on the large-scale work being carried out in our country in the field of intellectual property, including trademark protection, combating counterfeit products, law enforcement, preventing conflicts of interest, and fostering an investment climate and a competitive environment based on equal conditions.

The event was attended by the Institute's faculty members, doctoral students, master's students, and students, who received answers to the questions that interested them.
