A scientific seminar was held at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service with the participation of Axmedov Durbek Qudratillayevich, Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, and Professor.

At the seminar, a report on the demographic development forecasts for Uzbekistan and its regions up to 2050 was presented, and opinions were exchanged on the prospects of birth, mortality, and migration processes, the main results of the demographic forecasts, and their practical significance.

Doctoral students, master's students, and gifted undergraduates of the institute took an active part in the event.
