Assalomu alaykum, dear teachers, esteemed colleagues, and respected sisters!
"Mothers are the educators of all humankind"
Abdurauf Fitrat
In this beautiful spring season, which all of us have been longing for, on the eve of the International Women's Day on March 8, dear women, I am glad to meet with you!
On this splendid holiday, as our hearts fill with bright feelings, allow me, on my own behalf and on behalf of the men of our staff, to congratulate you, and through you all the beloved women of your families, on the holiday of March 8.
Today, each of us, with a boundless sense of gratitude, speaks the most beautiful words in honor of women, the great miracle of the Creator: our kind mothers, our esteemed sisters, our charming daughters. First and foremost, we regard you as the embodiment of selflessness. We bow before your boundless, ocean-like kindness of heart, your intellect and wisdom, your love and devotion.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize that, on the basis of the prudent state policy and comprehensive reforms pursued by the head of our state, the issue of women remains constantly at the center of attention.
At present, our women are actively participating in the political and social life of our country and in the processes of building a legal democratic state and civil society. Today, women make up 74 percent of the workforce in the field of education in our republic. In addition, in accordance with the new procedure, the state has paid the contract fees of more than 10,000 female students studying in the Master's degree programs, and interest-free education loans have been allocated to more than 65,000 female students. Nearly 2,000 girls from families in need, as well as more than
500 women with five years of work experience in their specialty, were admitted to higher education institutions on the basis of a special quota. This once again confirms that the issue of women is constantly at the center of our state's attention.
Respected sisters!
Life itself, which is becoming increasingly intense and complex, demands that we further strengthen the mutual respect, kindness and harmony prevailing in our country, protect the minds of young people from various dangers and the onslaught of "mass culture" coming from outside, and increase the effectiveness of our educational work in families and neighborhoods.
Indeed, your role and influence, dear women, in maintaining peace and tranquility in our country, strengthening families, and fostering an atmosphere of kindness in our society, as well as your qualities of endurance and patience, wisdom and gratitude, cannot be compared or measured against anything. I want to say without any hesitation: no women in the world can be found who equal the women of our land in beauty and selflessness, diligence and generosity of spirit. In particular, the charming and devoted women of our Institute are among the jewels of our nation.
In particular, more than 210 women work at our Institute, of whom 90 are instructors and mentors. It is gratifying that 35 of them (39 percent) are women holding academic degrees and titles, counted among the ranks of women scholars.
Today, in this era of rapidly changing globalization and the development strategy of New Uzbekistan, we know well and highly appreciate that you, second to none, are achieving great successes in the decisive priority areas of our life, in full harmony and in step with the demands of the times.
Allow me to sincerely congratulate you, and in your person all our mothers, sisters and charming women, on this holiday, and to express my deep respect and esteem. Our nation has always honored women, and showing the highest respect to women has become an age-old value characteristic of our people.
Dear and esteemed sisters!
In closing, I once again sincerely congratulate you all on International Women's Day.
My wish, my aim is one: may you always be in good health for the happiness of your families, your children, and our people! I wish you all peace of mind in your families, peace in your homes, and abundance and prosperity.
May it be granted to all of you to always be surrounded by the deep affection and cherishing of our staff, our students, our people, and our Homeland! For a people who value their women are an enlightened people, and a nation that exalts them is a paradise.
Once again, happy holiday!
