The International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "Palov (Osh) — the Cultural and Gastronomic Symbol of the National Cuisine of the Peoples of Uzbekistan" was held at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.

The conference brought together renowned chefs from various regions of our country, tourism specialists, and foreign guests, in particular chefs from Malaysia, Japan, and Pakistan. They exchanged views on how national dishes are valued in their own countries, the development of gastronomic tourism, and the role of cuisine in intercultural dialogue.

As part of the event, various master classes, practical demonstrations on the art of preparing plov, and cultural programs were also organized. In particular, the international guests' preparation of plov in their own distinctive styles and their exchange of experience with local chefs aroused great interest among the participants.
