On April 10, 2023, representatives of the Institute of Innovative Design and Technological Entrepreneurship of Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" — one of the major educational institutions of Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, which is ranked among the world's top 1000 leading higher education institutions — Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Svetlana Nikolayevna Kuzmina and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nina Sergeyevna Shashina, visited the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.

The main purpose of the visit was for the two higher education institutions to become acquainted with one another and to establish cooperative relations.
