Department of "Accounting" of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, higher education: 60410100 - "Accounting and Audit" (by industry and sector). On the basis of joint training with Kazan State University: "Accounting" and master's degree: 70410102 - "Audit (by industry and industry)" highly qualified personnel are being trained.
Currently there are 15 states, there are 16 professors, 1 head of the cabinet, 1 assistant. Among them:
1 doctor of economic sciences, professor;
1 candidate of economic sciences, professor;
2 Candidates of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor;
3 people have the positions of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Associate Professor in Economics;
3 teachers (assistant);
6 trainee assistants.
During the academic year, the teaching staff of the department prepared and published more than 10 textbooks (based on the standard of the Ministry), about 15 teaching aids (based on the standard of the Ministry), more than 20 methodological manuals and guidelines. period of independence. Also during this period, the staff of the department published about 1000 articles in foreign and domestic scientific journals. Among them are more than 10 Scopus journals.
The department "Accounting" is one of the oldest departments of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service. It was founded in 1931. Over its 92-year history, the Department of Accounting has made a significant contribution not only to the development of accounting, control, audit and audit, but also to the education and development of other economic sciences.
In 1931-2004 the department was called "Accounting", in 1996 the department "Audit" was separated from the department "Accounting". In 1998, the departments were merged and named the department "Accounting and Audit", in 2022, on the basis of the department, the department "Accounting and audit in other industries" was allocated. Since 2022, it has been called "Accounting".
The department was headed by the following professors: Associate Professor D.V. Mezentsev (1931-1934); associate professor B. G. Kanter (1935-1963); Professor I. K. Slepnev (1963-1964); Professor I.T.Abdukarimov (1964-1967); Associate Professor K.F. Abdukarimova (1967-1982); Professor K.D. Kudbiev (1982-1987); Associate Professor Kh.N.Musaev (1987-1992 and 2004-2008); Professor K.B.Urazov (1992-2004 and 2008-2020); Professor S.N.Tashnazarov (from 2020 to the present)
The department "Accounting" is the department that has prepared the largest number of doctors of science in this field in our republic. These are Kudbiev Davlat Kudbievich, Pardaev Abdunabi Khalikovich, Ibragimov Nazir Alievich, Musaev Khasan Narzikulovich, Pardaev Mamayunus Karshiboevevich, Urazov Kamil Bakhramovich, Israilov Bahadir Ibragimovich, Kurbanov Ziyod Niyazovich, Ismanov Ibragim Nabievich, Tashnazarov Samiddin Nizamovich.
During the years of independence, great successes have been achieved under the guidance of the Doctor of Economic Sciences of the Department of Accounting and Audit, Professor Komil Bakhramovich Urazov, qualified teaching staff of the department has been formed, modern textbooks and teaching aids have been created, a school of accounting and auditing has been created.
In the conditions of the new Uzbekistan, the adoption of Presidential Decree No. 4611 dated February 24, 2020 “On additional measures for the transition to international financial reporting standards” opened up great opportunities for developing the industry and improving the knowledge and skills of our department. The department develops accounting in an innovative digital economy, creates textbooks and teaching aids based on international financial reporting standards, organizes the advanced training of the teaching staff according to international standards, studies the experience of universities in developed countries, conducts large-scale work on the creation of curricula, scientific programs and syllabuses that meet international requirements, teaching specialized subjects in English, the widespread use of innovative technologies in the educational process, effective introduction of a credit-modular system, improving the quality of education.
To date, the department has established cooperation with the Russian University of Cooperation, Kazan Federal University and Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
In the next two years, as a result of effective scientific research conducted by scientists of our department, our young teachers Bobur Boronov, Dildora Pashakhadzhaeva, Zaruh Muhammadiev, Zainab Eshpolatova, Uchkun Shirinov, Oybek Nematov successfully defended their dissertations in the specialty "Accounting, economic analysis and audit" 08.00.08 and received a PhD in Economics.
In recent years, excellent textbooks and teaching aids have been created in the specialties "Accounting and Audit", specialties "Accounting" and "Audit" in all higher educational institutions of our republic. Based on the experience of world universities, the Department of Accounting, from the 2021-2022 academic year, switched to training specialists according to new curricula. In these curricula, as part of the certification of the international organization ASSA, the following subjects were included in the curriculum: Accountant in business (F-1-Accountant in business); Management accounting (F-2-Management accounting); Account of financial accounting (F-3-Financial accounting);
Corporate and business law (F-4-Corporate and business law); Performance management (F-5-Performance management); Taxation (F-6-Taxation); Financial reporting (F-7-Financial reporting); Audit and assurance (F-8-Audit and Assurance); Financial management subjects (F-9-Financial Management) were introduced.
The further perspective of the staff of the department "Accounting" is aimed at training independently thinking and competitive personnel that meet the requirements of a market economy.
