In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Registrar's Office conducted monitoring activities at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service in order to support students in the educational process, examine their inquiries, and assess the effectiveness of student advisory services.
During the monitoring, attention was focused on students' inquiries related to the educational process, the content of the advice and explanations provided to them, the promptness with which inquiries were reviewed, and the referral of students to the appropriate units on relevant matters.
In the 2024-2025 academic year, students who contacted the Registrar's Office received advice and explanations on the organization of the educational process, mastery of subjects, academic debt, course retakes, final assessments, forms of study, academic certificates, transfer and reinstatement of studies, the formalization of documents related to the educational process, and other matters.
Depending on the content of students' inquiries, the necessary information was conveyed to them in a simple and understandable form. If an inquiry concerned a matter outside the competence of the Registrar's Office, the student was referred to the relevant faculty, department, or other structural unit authorized to consider the matter.
During the monitoring process, frequently recurring questions and problems raised by students were also examined. On the basis of the identified inquiries, students continued to be given additional information on explaining the existing rules and procedures in the educational process, the correct formalization of documents, and the procedure for using the relevant services.
In communicating with students, the Registrar's Office paid particular attention to reviewing inquiries as promptly as possible, giving students clear answers, and indicating practical ways to resolve problems. This helped students to resolve matters related to the educational process in a timely manner.
In assessing the effectiveness of the student support system, the content of the explanations given in response to students' inquiries, the status of inquiry resolution, and the need for follow-up communication with students were examined. According to the monitoring results, it was found that advisory services focused primarily on delivering necessary and understandable information to students in a timely manner.
In studying the level of satisfaction with the student support system, attention was given to students' inquiries and feedback. The questions, suggestions, and inquiries expressed by students were regarded as an important source for further improving the student support system.
As a result of the monitoring, it was determined that the following areas require attention in order to further improve the student support system:
