A two-day student youth tourism festival was held in Sarmishsoy

The "Youth Tourism: National Culture and Ethnosport" tourism festival was held in the Sarmishsoy gorge of the Navoi region by the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service in cooperation with Navoi State Pedagogical Institute and Navoi State University of Mining and Technologies.

University students, tutors, and youth leaders actively took part in the two-day festival. As part of the event, students performed national songs and melodies, and folk competitions such as tug-of-war and chillak, as well as psychological trainings and intellectual games, were held.

In addition to traveling to the Sarmishsoy gorge, the students visited the ancient Nur Fortress, the "Chashma" historical and architectural complex in the Nurota district, and the Museum of the Memory of Victims of Repression, which is part of the structure of Navoi State Pedagogical Institute. During the event, a memorandum was signed among the leaders of the primary youth organizations of the higher education institutions.
