On February 1, 2024, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Status of the Teacher" was adopted.

The Law establishes the rights and obligations of teachers, the main guarantees of their professional activity, and the principles of remuneration commensurate with work performed, incentives, and social protection. It is stipulated that the rights, honor, dignity, and professional reputation of a teacher shall be under state protection.
