An event dedicated to the International Day for Monuments and Sites was held at the student dormitory of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.



An educational event was organized at the student dormitory of the Samarkand institute of economics and service on the initiative of tutors from the evening education faculty, in connection with the “International Day for Monuments and Sites.”
During the event, students and participants were provided with detailed information about cultural monuments, historical sites, and the importance of their preservation. It was also emphasized that this date was established in 1983 by the UNESCO Assembly with the aim of protecting the world’s cultural heritage, preserving it, and drawing public attention to the important tasks in this area.
The protection of cultural monuments is considered one of the key priorities of any country. Preserving historical monuments not only allows a connection with the past but also contributes positively to the country’s economy by creating unique tourist destinations and attracting thousands of visitors.
