📋 Appointment to Position

At Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service the position of Vice-Rector coordinating international cooperation activities was established for the first time in 2026. In accordance with the protocol of the meeting of the Institute's Supervisory Board dated February 25, 2026 No. 1, the following divisions were included in the structure of the Vice-Rectorate for International Cooperation: Department of International Cooperation, Department of Work with International Rankings, and Department of Coordination of Joint Educational Programs.

In accordance with the order of the Rector of Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service dated March 25, 2026 No. 58-SH, Abdukarimov Furkat Barat Aliyevich was appointed to the position of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.

Under the leadership of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Furkat Abdukarimov, partnership relations have been established with the following institutions and corresponding agreements have been signed:

Republic of Tajikistan: Tajikistan Institute of Energy, International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and its branch in Levakand

Poland: Cracow University of Economics, University of Economics in Katowice, Pomeranian University in Slupsk, and WSB Academy

Kyrgyz Republic: Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov

Republic of Kazakhstan: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University named after O. Zhanibekov

Malaysia: Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation and SEGi University
